Our history. Since 1903.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the Platzer couple take over a dairy and produce trade in Hörsching. Transports are initially carried out with a dog cart, later with a horse-drawn wagon. It is the time of small steps and great dedication – the beginning of a company history that will endure across generations.

With the first truck, motorization enters the business. Work becomes more efficient, the routes longer, the possibilities greater. A single vehicle becomes a symbol of progress and the courage to actively shape the future.

In 1933, Ludwig Tazreiter sen. laid the foundation for Tazreiter GmbH by acquiring an agricultural business in Ybbsitz. From timber transport with the horse-drawn wagon, the company quickly developed further. Since 2018, Tazreiter has been part of REDER Transportlogistik++.

After the war, an important strategic step is achieved: the first tanker train for milk transports is purchased. This marks the beginning of a business segment that will shape the company for decades and become one of its most important pillars.

Albert Platzer continues to run the business and responds to the rising volume of milk. New investments provide higher capacities and efficient processes. It is a time of new beginnings, in which commitment and foresight set the course.

After the death of Albert Platzer, his son-in-law Josef Reder takes over the company. In a phase of economic upswing, he expands the range of services to include construction and crane vehicles. A workshop, filling station and garages are built – the business grows in structure and substance.

Josef Reder passes away and leaves behind a well-run company with 14 vehicles. In the following years the business is continued as a widow’s business – carried by togetherness, commitment and the responsibility to carry on his life’s work.

Ing. Josef Reder takes over his mother’s business and merges it with his own company. With 24 vehicles, a strong basis for further growth is created. In addition, Günther Reder joins the company and gradually takes over central areas of responsibility such as controlling, dispatch and quality assurance.

Over four years of construction, the entire company site is redesigned: a modern office wing, new workshop bays, a washing area, noise-protection walls and paved parking areas are created. The fleet is continuously expanded – a milestone toward future viability.

REDER takes over milk collection for a large Upper Austrian dairy. 30 new employees, new sites in Rohrbach and Wels as well as 17 additional vehicles mark one of the most dynamic years in the company’s history.

A new major contract from the dairy sector leads to another site in Taufkirchen an der Pram. With 10 units and 20 employees, the market position in milk logistics is further strengthened.

After years of rapid growth, the company is reorganized. Processes are optimized and a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9002 is prepared – a decisive step toward long-term professionalism.

Harald Reder joins and gradually takes over the management of the workshop and fleet. At the same time, the companies of the Schneider group are acquired – including fleet, employees and a new site in St. Peter/Au. A milestone in milk logistics.

With the purchase of a large plot of land in Hörsching, the foundation is laid for the next phase of development. The decision is bold and economically challenging – but forward-looking.

The new, modern operating facility is put into service and ceremonially opened. Workshop, wash line, paint shop, filling station and generous parking areas form a site that combines functionality and appealing architecture – entirely in the spirit of "quality over quantity".

Within two years, 75 new vehicles are acquired. At the same time, the visual identity is completely revised – a modern logo replaces the previous appearance. With over 200 employees and 130 vehicles, the company develops into one of the region’s most important providers.

All operational transport services are bundled in the new REDER Transporte KG. A clear structure is created that enables efficiency and growth.

With a new base in Eferding, the company opens up a new strategic business field: as part of a comprehensive outsourcing project, Reder takes over a customer’s tipper fleet – an area successfully operated until the end of 2024. Since January 2025, the customer has been operating its tipper fleet in-house again.

The external appearance is modernized and the slogan "We move the economy" is introduced. At the same time, the Driver Academy is founded – a strong signal for professionalization and training.

109 units are renewed within 18 months. With over 300 employees and 190 vehicles, REDER is a fixed presence in the industry.

In 2013, the then REDERTRANS Logistik GmbH took over ERRO Spedition, a logistics and transport company founded in 1989 with a site in Hörsching. ERRO stands for flexible and tailored transport and logistics solutions as well as individual support for complex customer requirements. With the integration of ERRO, today’s REDER Group strengthened its service portfolio in the area of specialized logistics and direct transports and further expanded its position as a versatile logistics partner.

Even before the standard becomes mandatory, REDER relies on Euro 6 engines – a clear commitment to the environment and responsibility.

Parking areas, office spaces and logistics areas are modernized – another step toward efficiency and a future-oriented outlook.

The long-standing senior director passes away after a serious illness. His values, his courage and his passion remain part of the corporate culture to this day.

In January, TAZYTRANS Logistik in Ennsbach (Lower Austria), with 25 trucks and around 40 employees, becomes part of the REDER Group. The TAZYTRANS Logistik brand remains in place, while at the same time the group strengthens its presence in Lower Austria with another site near the A1.

With a bold campaign, truck drivers themselves become models – a strong statement for appreciation and modern recruitment.

After two years of renovation, the new site in St. Florian am Inn is opened – with state-of-the-art technology, generous work areas and optimal processes.

In autumn 2025, an intensive brand process begins. REDER, ERRO and TAZYTRANS jointly develop the new brand "REDER Transportlogistik++". The new corporate design combines tradition and future – a visible sign of reliability, togetherness and strategic development.

As of 1 August 2026, the three operational companies REDER, ERRO and TAZYTRANS are merged into REDER Transportlogistik KG in order to pool synergies and present a stronger joint profile. Under the brand "REDER Transportlogistik++" and the claim "Moving what matters. Since 1903.", a new chapter of the company’s history begins.
